Israel Football Ligat Ha’Al Matchday 18

Hapoel Beer Sheva 2:1 Bnei Yehuda
After an early scare due to a Ben Bitton own goal, Beer Sheva took the bull by the horns as Maor Melikson scored a late first half goal while Ben Sahar found the winner midway through half number two.

Hapoel Tel Aviv 0:1 Maccabi Tel Aviv
Vidar Kjartansson’s early goal off of a Tal Ben Chaim cross was all that the Yellow & Blue needed to beat the Reds in the Tel Aviv Derby.

Maccabi Haifa 0:2 Maccabi Petach Tikva
Nenad Admovic and Guy Melamed scored within two minutes of each other early on in the second half to silence the Sammy Ofer faithful as Kobi Refuah’s magic touch continued yet again in the 2:0 away win.

Bnei Sakhnin 5:2 Kiryat Shemona
Yuval Abidor scored a hattrick for the hosts as they defeated Kiryat Shemona 5:2 at Doha Stadium. Ali Osman and Avraham Laz also scored for Bnei Sakhnin while Shlomi Azulay and Achmed Abed countered for the visitors.

Beitar Jerusalem 1:0 Hapoel Haifa
Dan Einbinder’s 7th minute goal was the difference maker for Jerusalem as they won at home and collected the three points.

Hapoel Raanana 0:2 Hapoel Ashkelon
Mohamed Shaker picked up a 17th minute red card while an Emmanuel Embola own goal in the first half combined with a Reef Mesika strike in the second frame gave relegation candidate Ashkelon the valuable three points.

Ashdod 0:0 Hapoel Kfar Saba
A dry goalless draw between the two sides resulted in each team capturing a point.
