Vidar Kjartansson scored a hat-trick for the Yellow & Blue as Maccabi picked up the three points and the win in Lito Vidigal’s debut as head coach. Eli Dasa assisted on the Icelander’s 2nd and 3rd goals of the evening sending the crowd into pandemonium. Maccabi’s win coupled with Beer Sheva’s draw leaves the Yellow & Blue just 3-points off the table leaders.


Hapoel Haifa 0:0 Hapoel Beer Sheva
A goalless draw was on tap at Sammy Ofer Stadium as Dor Peretz had a chance to win it late, but his effort was saved by Guy Haimov as the teams split the points.


Hapoel Tel Aviv 1:2 Beitar Jerusalem
Ten-man Beitar defeated the Reds at the Moshava Stadium. Ben Reichert scored for Hapoel in the third minute but a Jesus Rueda and Itay Shechter second half strike would hand the visitors the 3-points and the win.


Hapoel Kfar Saba 0:2 Maccabi Haifa
Dekel Keinan scored a brace with a goal in each half as Haifa won for their new head coach Guy Luzon in his first game at the helm of the Greens.


Hapoel Ashkelon 0:1 Maccabi Petach Tikva
Leroy Tzeri’s 93rd minute goal was the difference maker for Petach Tikva as they won late and picked up the 3-points.


Bnei Yehuda 0:2 Hapoel Raanana
Yuval Shabtai and Muhamed Calibat scored second half strikes to give Haim Silvas and his side 3-points against struggling Bnei Yehuda.


SC Ashdod 1:1 Bnei Sakhnin
Or Inbrum scored a 35th minute goal thanks to Gadi Kinda’s assist, but Idan Shemesh who has now scored in 5 straight matches evened up the score in the 56th minute to split the points in Ashdod boss Ran Ben Shimon’s debut.
