The Yellow & Blue defeated Bnei Yehuda 2:0 on Matchday 36 of the Israel Premier League Ligat Ha’Al as the season came to a close with Maccabi locking up 2nd place. Omer Atzily scored a first half penalty while Gidi Kanuk found the back of the goal for his first marker with Maccabi to give Head Coach Jordi Cruyff a win in his last match with the Club.

Beitar Jerusalem 1:1 Hapoel Haifa
Ofir Kriaf scored for the host’s while Radu Ginsari found the back of the goal for Haifa as the sides split the points.

Hapoel Beer Sheva 6:1 Maccabi Netanya
Captain Elyaniv Barda who was out for much of the season with a heart issue came back for the final two minutes of a 6:1 win to cap his career. Guy Melamed scored a hat trick, Maor Melikson added a brace while Tomas Pekhart also scored for the champions.

Maccabi Tel Aviv 3:1 Beitar Jerusalem
In Barak Itzhaki’s final match as an active player and Jordi Cruyff’s last home match as coach, Maccabi Tel Aviv took home a 3:1 win to move into second place on the Israel Premier League Ligat Ha’Al table with just one Matchday remaining. Three first half goals by Avi Rikan, Ofir Davidzada and Nick Blackman via a penalty sewed up the win as Tal Kahila scored for Beitar Jerusalem.

Hapoel Haifa 1:4 Hapoel Beer Sheva
Dan Einbinder, Mehran Radi, Guy Melamed and Tomas Pekhart all scored for Beer Sheva while Alon Turgeman found the back of the goal for the host’s in the 90′.

Maccabi Netanya 0:5 Bnei Yehuda
Roie Gordana, Yonatan Cohen, Yarden Shoa, Yuval Ashkenazi and Matan Hotzes gave Bnei Yehuda and coach Yossi Abuksis a big win at Netanya.
