Maccabi Tel Aviv 78-66 Ironi Nahariya

Maccabi Tel Aviv pulled away in the third quarter to take the victory over Nahariya. Sylvan Landesberg led the way for Tel Aviv with a game high 26 points. Both teams shot poorly from the field, but Maccabi was able to get into the paint a lot and draw fouls. Cameron Clark scored 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for Nahariya.

Hapoel Jerusalem 72-67 Hapoel Tel Aviv

Lior Eliyahu and Hapoel Jerusalem Scratched out a tough win against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Eliyahu had a game high 23 points on 11/18 shooting from inside the arc. Jerusalem passed the ball well dishing out 23 assists. Raviv Limonad scored 18 points for Tel Aviv. This game keeps Hapoel Jerusalem one point ahead of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the standings.

Hapoel Holon 87-80 Hapoel Eilat

Hapoel Holon pulled out the comeback victory against Eilat with the help of Will Claiborne’s 32 points. Down 8 at the half Holon outscored Eilat by 15 points in the second half to win by 7. Isaac Rozfit also had a big game for Holon putting in 23 points with 15 rebounds. Amino Allada had a double-double for Eilat scoring 18 points and grabbing 18 rebounds.

Nes Ziona 103-104 Maccabi Haifa

Haifa defeated Nes Ziona in a double OT thriller on Monday night. Gregory Vargas carried the team with a game high 28 points and 12 assists. Both teams shot a combined 57 three pointers in the game. Nes Ziona could have won the game if it had capitalized on its free throw attempts. Nes Ziona took a whopping 45 free throws and only converted on 30 of them. Diamond Simpson led the way for Ziona with 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Bnei Herzliya 88-84 Maccabi Kiryat Gat

James Singleton led the way with 20 points and 9 rebounds in Herzliya’s victory over Kiryat Gat. Amado Enjou chipped in with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Bnei Herzliya had a terrible night from beyond the arc shooting 3/20 while Herzliya hit clutch free throws near the end, shooting 25/27 from the stripe. Paul Delaney almost had a triple double for Kiryat Gat with 22 points 9 rebounds and 8 assists.

Maccabi Ashdod 86-84 Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion

Charles Thomas paved the way for a big win over Rishon Le’Zion with 33 points and 10 rebounds. Ashdod was able to make a comeback even though they turned the ball over 19 times compared to Rishon’s 10. Darryl Monroe had a monster game for Rishon scoring 30 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Shawn Dawson poured in 25 points for Rishon as well.
