Maccabi Ashdod 80-76 Hapoel Jerusalem
Isaiah Swann with 25 points and his Ashdod teammates shocked league leader Jerusalem 80-76 as Tzvika Sherf’s side found the winning formula to down the reining champions. Three other players scored in double digits led by Diante Garrett with 18 points, Charles Thomas dropped 15 points and Yehu Orland scored 11 points in the four point victory. For Jerusalem guard EJ Rowland netted 17 while Tony Gaffney’s 15 points and Lior Eliyahu’s 12 points weren’t enough to help the Reds to victory.

Maccabi Kiryat Gat 63-88 Maccabi Tel Aviv
After being knocked out of the Euroleague and relegated to playing EuroCup for the balance of the year, Maccabi Tel Aviv dished out revenge on Kiryat Gat demolishing the newly promoted club by 25 points, 88-63. The Yellow-and-Blue had five players in double figures with youngster Dragan Bender scoring a career high 15 points while adding 6 assists and Jordan Farmar knocking down 14 points in the win. Marco Killingsworth’s double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds were nowhere near enough to help the home side as Devin Smoth with 12 points, and 11 points apiece from Taylor Rochestie and Sylven Landesberg moved Maccabi into a tie with Jerusalem for first place in league play.

Hapoel Eilat 84-72 Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion
Eilat stunned Rishon Le’Zion with a handy 12 point win in the seaside town as Alade Aminu scored 23 points for the victors. Despite Shawn Dawson’s 16 points and 7 rebounds, Eilat played a total team game dominating the second quarter 25-10 to help secure the win.

Ironi Nahariya 61-80 Maccabi Haifa

Stephen Dennis added 14 points while dishing out 8 assists as Holon was led by Will Clyburn’s monster 30 point game. However it would not be enough for Dan Shamir’s side to pick up the victory.
