In a shocking upset, Hapoel Tel Aviv routed Maccabi Tel Aviv in the inter-city rivalry. In the low scoring affair Raviv Limonad led Hapoel with 16 points and 7 assists. The difference maker in the game was the difference in assists. Hapoel dished out 23 assists to Maccabi’s 12 while also outrebounding Maccabi by 9. Gal Mekel led a weak showing by Maccabi with 14 points.

Hapoel Jerusalem 100-80 Maccabi Herzliya

Yotam Halperin led Jerusalem in their victory over Herzliya. Halperin had a game high 21 points in the hitting 71% of his shots beyond the arc as Jerusalem moved the ball around very well dishing out 32 assists. The game was tied going into the half, but Jerusalem quickly pulled away in the third quarter. Drew Crawford scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the defeat.

Hapoel Eilat 85-76 Nes Ziona

Pulling away in the fourth quarter, Eilat picked up the victory over Nes Ziona. Khalif Wyatt was the MVP scoring a game high 33 points going 9 of 12 shooting from three point territory. Eilat attempted more three point field goals in the game than two pointers. Sundiata Gaines led Nes Ziona with 18 points and 9 rebounds.

Maccabi Ashdod 90-83 Maccabi Haifa

Willie Workman and Ashdod grinded out a victory over Haifa as Workman and Swann both had a team high 18 points. Ashdod shot well from beyond the arc hitting 46% of theirs shots. Ashdod also moved the ball around very well accumulating 27 assists on the night. Gregory Vargas chipped in 18 points for Haifa.

Rishon Le’Zion 93-85 Ironi Nahariya

Rishon Le’Zion gets the victory behind its “Big Three”. Dawson, Lyons, and Monroe combined for 63 of Rishon’s 93 points. Rishon shot an impressive 67% from inside the arc while knocking down 45% of their threes. Richard Howell led Nahariya with 27 points while shooting an efficient 71% from the field.

Hapoel Holon 86-84 Maccabi Kiryat Gat

Wil Clyburn and Hapoel Holon defeated Kiryat Gat in a tight game. Clyburn led all players with 28 points while helping his team out with 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Ramel Bradley helped out with 25 points of his own. Hapoel Holon shot well from three hitting 46% of their shots. Paul Delaney scored 25 points for Kiryat gat in the losing effort.
