Bnei Herzliya 84-82 Maccabi Tel Aviv
Maccabi Tel Aviv came close to a come from behind victory at Bnei Herzeliya, losing 84-82. Herzeliya led by 15 points at half time, and won thanks to Jeff Adrien’s 20 points in 27 minutes. Taurean Green had 18 points, while Karam Mashour had a double double in 16 points and 17 rebounds. Tel Aviv’s second half charge was led by Andrew Goudelock and D.J Seeley’s 13 points. Guy Pnini, Joe Alexander, and Colton Iverson all had 10 for Maccabi.
Ironi Nahariya 76- 72 Rishon Le’Zion
Ironi Nahariya were victorious over Rishon Le’Zion in what was a close 76-72 game. Jonathan Skjoldebrand scored 17, while Gilbert Brown and Yancy Gales scored 16 and 15, respectively for Nahariya. Javon McCrea had 24 points, while Patrick Richard scored 16 for Rishon.
Maccabi Ashdod 70-57 Hapoel Jerusalem
Maccabi Ashdod’s strong second half sealed a comfortable victory over Hapoel Jerusalem. Adam Ariel’s 18 points and Jake Cohen 17 point and 9 rebounds gave distance for Ashdod in the second half. Amar’e Stoudemire and Lior Eliyahu had rough games finishing with 4 points on 1/7 shooting and 8 points on 4/13 shooting, respectively. Curtis Jerrells had 16 points, while Jerome Dyson scored 15 for Hapoel.
Hapoel Holon 80-75 Maccabi Haifa
Hapoel Holon overturned a third quarter deficit to defeat Maccabi Haifa, 80-75. Darion Atkins had 23 points and 17 rebounds, while Shlomi Harrush’s 24 points points helped Holon seal a close game. Will Graves had 18 points for Haifa, while Alex Perez had 16 points in what Haifa will consider a game that was winnable.
Maccabi Kiryat Gat 82-75 Hapoel Tel Aviv
Maccabi Kiryat Gat came from behind in the fourth quarter to take the W’ against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Tyshawn Taylor’s 25 points and 7 assists led the way for Kiryat Gat. Alex Rosenberg scored 17, while James Singelton had 10 points and 13 rebounds for Kiryat Gat. Rochard Howell had a strong game with 19 points and 11 rebounds for Hapoel Tel Aviv. Darrell Williams had 17 points and Alando Tucker added 10 in what has to be considered a missed opportunity for Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Hapoel Gilboa Galil 84-69 Hapoel Eilat
Gilboa Galil comfortably defeated Hapoel Eilat, 84-69. Jason Siggers had 17 points while Eric Griffin had a double double in 11 points and 11 rebounds for Galil. Michael Qualls had 15 points, while Murphy Holloway added 14 points and 8 boards for Galil. Robert Rothbart had 16 points and 9 rebounds, while Reginald Buckner scored 15 for Eilat.
