Ironi Tiberias and Hapoel Jerusalem played to an entertaining 2-2 draw up in the Galilee as Ziv Morgan’s last gasp header in second half injury time gave the hosts a split of the points. Kayes Ganem opened the scoring but Nadim Vrassana knotted the score up at 1-1 early on in the second half. Andrew Idoko scored from inside the box in the 78th minute to give the capital city reds the lead but Morgan nodded home the equalizer as time wound down to take a point a piece.

“The point itself is a good one,” Tiberias bench boss Alon Ziv began. “But we could have gotten more because we took the lead and started the game well. I’m very unhappy with the way we started the second half. We conceded from a set piece and that was purely down to a lack of concentration but I’m happy that we didn’t give up and managed to equalize.”

“I’m very disappointed with the point,” Jerusalem Head Coach Lior Zada said. “Especially because of the excellent first half we played, when we came from behind and could have scored even more. Conceding a goal in the 92nd minute is always frustrating.”
