Inter Aliyah continued their fine recent form of late on Wednesday night, taking down Ramat Efal 72-52 at home, which placed the club in second place in the Liga Bet standings with a 6-1 record this season.
The game marked the debut for talented big man Nyv Segev, the brother of already-established Inter rotation player Ron Segev, as well as being the final game for American guard Zach Levy.
Ramat Efal had yet to win a game this season but they came out to play in the opening quarter and kept the contest close in the beginning. However, by the end of the first quarter, Inter had begun to find their stride as Jake Pemberton, who led the game in scoring with 26 points, was starting to get hot from three-point range.
There were also contributions from Barak Swarrtz, debutant Nyv and Yona Kadosh with 11, 9 and 6 points respectively. Head Coach AJ Mitnick gave minutes to nearly his entire roster as the team never looked back and kept a double-digit lead for the majority of the game.
Next week, Inter will head to Hapoel Yaffo Sky before a trip down south to Shar HaNegev in the final 8 of the State Cup.
