Hapoel Tel Aviv cruised past Gran Canaria 79-66 as Patrick Beverley paced the Reds to the EuroCup win and move their record to 3-1 on the season. Stefanos Dedas’s squad jumped out to a 37-29 lead at halftime on the strength of Ish Wainwright, Tomer Ginat, Bruno Caboclo and Beverley while Marcus Foster and Bar Timor polished off the job in in the second half to notch the victory. Beverley scored 15 points, Ginat added 14 points and Wainwright chipped in with 12 points in the win as Caleb Homesley scored 17 points and Nicolas Brussino added 12 points in the loss.

“This was a very important win and my staff did a great job preparing for the game,” Hapoel Tel Aviv Head Coach Stefanos Dedas said. “You can see that we didn’t give up more than 20 in any quarter and kept Gran Canaria at bay.
