Hapoel Jerusalem downed Cluj 101-89 on the road in EuroCup action that moved their record to 6-2 on the season.
Jerusalem went up 38-21 after a dominant first quarter, but found themslves then later found itself in a deficit situation in the third quarter in which Cluj outscored the reds 32–18 but came back with a solid final frame 25-14 to take the win.
Jared Harper experienced muscle cramps at the end of the third quarter, but Jerusalem clarified that he is fine and he thanked the fans for their support.
Jerusalem completely controlled the rebounding battle (48-25), even grabbing more offensive rebounds than their opponent took on defense (19-16). Anthony Lamb put in 17 points (4–5 on two-pointers, 3–3 on threes), 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Harper (5 assists) and Cassius Winston (5 rebounds, 5 assists) each contributed 16 points. Kadim Carrington scored 11 points alongside 5 turnovers. Austin Wiley recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds on his way to a 24 efficiency rating. Roi Huber added 10 points and both Dmytro Skapintsev (19 efficiency with 9 points on 4–4 from two and 6 rebounds) and Josiah-Jordan James (6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists) made strong contributions. On the other side, Israeli Ben Altit did not play.
