Hapoel Holon notches road win over Bnei Herzliya to snatch home court advantage in QF series

Hapoel Holon defeated Bnei Herzliya 84-73 as Adama Sanogo and Yair Kravits stared for the purple visitors as they stole home court advantage and took a 1-0 quaterfinal series lead in the first game of the quarterfinal series. Predrag Krunić’s controlled the game from the opening tip and built an 18-point lead in the third quarter, but then Herzliya came alive.

Yehu Orland’s squad went on an 18–0 run thanks to fine play by Chinanu Onuaku and Justin Edler-Davis to tie the game and it looked as though Holon were about to succumb to the pressure. However, Holon recovered behind the leadership of Sanogo and Kravits along with points from Kevion Taylor, Darin Green and Idan Zalmanaon helped their team regain control of the game and secure a 1-0 lead in the series.

Sanogo scored 17 points, Taylor added 15 points and Kravits put in 14 points in the win while Onuaku scored 16 points, Edler-Davis put in 15 points and Zack Bryant scored 14 points in the loss.
