Lithuania and Georgia went back and forth all game long and unfortunately one side had to lose as Georgia pulled off the 2-point win 79-77. This was a contest that was played at the highest of levels as both teams left every inch of sweat on the floor. Tornike Shengelia led all scorers with 29 points as the Baskonia forward helped Georgia to the upset win. Duda Sanadze dropped 13 points, Zaza Pachulia scored 8 points while pulling down 10 rebounds and Michael Dixon dished out 7 assists to go along with 12 points for the surprise package. Mindaugus Kuzminskas scored 18 points to go along with 7 boards while Jonas Valanciunas scored 9 points and picked up 9 rebounds in the loss
