“The defensive side of our game worked well and that was our base for the win,” Avrahami said. “We really were excellent on that side of the court. Our next game is in over a week and it’s very hard to get into a rhythm when we are playing in 11 days from now. As for Michael, he was with me a number of years in the youth national teams. He put in a huge defensive effort and he wasn’t 100% but he was great.”

Brisker also spoke about the win, “We defended well as a team and we are coming together. I have had some ups and downs over the last few weeks and I am happy that I was able to play well today. But as a team, it all comes down to defense and if we play well on that side of the ball things will be fine.”
