The Sports Rabbi and Roye Shelem begin the show by congratulating Israeli sprinter Blessing Akawasi Afrifah for running a 19.96 in the 200 meter dash to win the Gold Medal at the U20 Athletic Championships.

We then looked at Maccabi Haifa’s 4-0 win over Apollon Limassol in Champions League qualifying and the keys to their early success with their new import players, Eran Zahavi’s return to Maccabi Tel Aviv and their 2-0 victory against Aris as well as Hapoel Beer Sheva’s surprise 2-0 win over Lugano in Conference League qualifying.
