Beitar Jerusalem walloped Hapoel Hadera 4-0 thanks to an Eliran Atar hat-trick to give the visitors the win just before the nationwide lockdown was to be put in place. Yarden Shua opened the scoring in the 9th minute as he roofed a loose ball in the box into the back of the goal for a 1-0 lead while three minutes later Eliran Atar scored his first of the game by beating Hadera keeper Robi Levkovich to double the advantage. Atar then headed home a Yarden Shua ball in the 39th minute while the minutes into the second half Atar finished off a Shay Konstantin pass to finish off a 4-0 win for Slobodan Drapic and Shay Barda’s squad.

Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Haifa played to a 1-1 draw to split the points at Teddy Stadium. Tomer Yosefi finished off a team play to give Beer Sheva a 1-0 lead in the 41st minute but a Loai Taha own goal in the second half gave the Greens a point.

Maccabi Tel Aviv and Bnei Yehuda played to a listless goalless draw as the Yellow & Blue couldn’t take advantage of the Haifa draw to close the gap atop the table.

Maccabi Netanya slipped by Bnei Sakhnin 1-0 up north in the Galilee to take the win and the 3-points. Osama Khalaila had a chance to give the hosts an early lead but the rising star missed a 4th minute penalty as Dani Amos saved the spot kick to keep the score as is. However, in the 27th minute Hen Ezra found the back of the Sakhnin goal which needed to be confirmed by the Virtual Assistant Referee as Raymond Atteveld’s squad went on to the victory.

Kiryat Shemona downed Hapoel Haifa 2-0 as Kobi Refuah’s team scored early and late to seal the victory. Muhammed Shaker took a pass from Saikou Touray and sent a 14 meter stunner to the right of Reds keeper Amit Suari to take a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute while Eugene Ansah added a late insurance goal to take the 3 points.

Hapoel Kfar Saba gave new head coach Elisha Levy a 2-0 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva. Amadou Soukouna and Omer Fadida secured the 3-points for the Greens.

Ashdod dominated Hapoel Tel Aviv in a 2-1 victory. The Reds Gil Itzhak scored an early 4th minute goal but strikes by Fahad Bayo and Roie Gordana gave Ran Ben Shimon’s squad the comeback win.
