Maccabi Haifa flew to Hungary on Tuesday for their training camp abroad, during which the team will play its first two preseason friendlies against Dundee FC of Scotland and Paksi FC of Hungary.
Kenji Gorré, who has been with Curacao at the World Cup will join the club when they return to Israel while new signing Bruninho is also expected to join the training camp in the upcoming days. The Greens departed with only one new addition already in the squad, Yair Mordechai, while several players returned from loan spells, including Yarin Levy, Daniel Golani and Itai Ehud.

Keeper Georgi Yermakov was also on the flight to the training camp but there could be developments regarding his future as he has been attracting offers from clubs abroad.
Head coach Barak Bachar said, “It’s exciting to start something new. We’re heading to training camp early, which means we have plenty of time to work and help the players build chemistry, both professionally and with the younger players. We also have new staff members and players, with some still expected to join. The goal is to build something good and strong.”
Maccabi Haifa began preseason training in Israel last Tuesday and upon their return from Hungary they will play a number of additional preseason friendlies ahead of the Toto Cup Derby slated for Saturday night July 25 at Sammy Ofer Stadium.
