Kiryat Ata downed Nes Ziona 78-64 to finish in 10th place and avoid playing in the relegation playoffs. Paul Corsaro’s Nes Ziona needed to either win the game or lose by up to 9 points in order for their season to come to an end and force Kiryat Ata into the relegation playoffs. But Eldad Bentov’s charges had five players score in double digits led by Rob Edwards with 21 points and were able to turn the trick and win at home to end their campaign on a high note after missing out on the championship playoffs.
