Maccabi Tel Aviv Head Coach Oded Katash reflected on the win, “Bayern is really tough and a well coached team. Both sides of the court on offense and defense they are difficult and we played almost forty perfect minutes but relaxed for a bit and Andres Obst scored quickly and was really dominant created some panic with our defense. But this was a great game for us and a great win. Both teams hit crazy shots and that was really tough for us and the game could have gone both ways, but we couldn’t gave won without our fans.”

Bayern Munich Head Coach Svetislav Pesic spoke about the contest, “I think both teams deserved to win with 35 3-pointers, it was spectacular and excellent game for the fans and for us. We aren’t Hapoel but we are satisfied with the effort and that we could have won the game. We didn’t have some of our important players in this game but it gave me the opportunity to see how other players were able to help the team off of the bench.”
