Bnei Yehuda defeated favorites Maccabi Tel Aviv on penalties 4:3 after 120 of goalless action to take the Israel State Cup for the first time in 36 years. Stav Finish finished off the Yellow & Blue to win the trophy in the 6th round after Yossi Benayoun, Oscar Scarione and defender Tal Ben Haim each missed a penalty.

With the win, Bnei Yehuda enters Europa League qualifying in the second round while Maccabi will need to begin in the first round just as they did last season.
