In what was a back and forth game throughout, the sides headed into the final frame all knotted up at 63-63. However, with the Turkish squad in front by a point with a minute and a half to go, J\u2019Covan Brown took the bull by the horns to spur the Reds on to the win and move their record to 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>Brown scored 19 points and added 7 assists, Jaylen Hoard chipped in with 15 points and Braian Angola scored 11 points in the win. Derek Needham scored 16 points, Jonah Matthews added 15 points and Matthew Mitchell chipped in with 13 points in the loss.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was a big win and it was a huge test,\u201d Hapoel Tel Aviv head coach Danny Franco said. \u201cif you weren\u2019t here you just can\u2019t understand it. I have to take my hat off to the guys. There are things that we have to work on and fix up but the staff and players really did a great job and I am very happy.\u201d I am not sure which imports will get onto teh flight to go back to Israel and the Israeli league all be an issue for us with the tough travel and we will have to deal with it. We are an Israeli club and we will have to handle the situation. But to play with this type of tough schedule can be very significant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The game MVP J\u2019Covan Brown spoke about the win, \u201cI\u2019m doing my job to be with the guys night in and night out. We had to be aggressive as we knew they would be and we had to play our basketball.
