\n\u201cIt is a true honour to be able to represent your country in any national tournament, however representing Canada at the Maccabiah games is something that has always been a dream of mine growing up as a Jewish boy. Walking out during the open ceremonies in Jerusalem to a sold out stadium representing Canada and being amongst Jewish athletes from all over the world is something I will never forget. The feelings that go through your body during that walk with 500 other Canadian athletes was an indescribable. Especially being able to walk along side my brother, my father and 3 first cousins by my side was an experience that will last a lifetime and I will hold close to my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnytime you lace up your skates dawning the red and white maple leaf is special and add that to opening up the tournament against our neighbours to the south was a great opportunity to set the tone for the tournament. Scoring a goal for your country is always something you dream of but it’s the guys around you and the camaraderie on and off the ice is what you remember for the rest of your life.\u201d<\/p>\n
