Maccabi Tel Aviv fell to Bayern Munich 70-52 as their 3-game Euroleague win steak came to a halt in Germany. The Yellow & Blue had trouble finding their scoring game all night long as Andrea Trinchieri\u2019s squad gave Avi Even\u2019s team fits on the offensive end as they held Maccabi to a record low in points while they dished out only 5 assists over the course of the 40 minutes.<\/p>\n

Following a fairly even first half that ended in Bayern\u2019s favor 30-29, Vladimir Lucic and Corey Walden provided the points while Nick Weiler-Babb and the rest of the team handled the defensive assignments by closing off the passing lanes as Scottie Wilbekin was the only Maccabi player in double digits in the 18-point loss.

\nWilbekin led Maccabi with 20 points while Jalen Reynolds and Ante Zizic had 7 points a piece in the loss. Corey Walden paced Bayern with 13 points, Vladimir Lucic added 9 points as Nick Weiler-Babb and Leon Radosevic scored 8 points a piece in the win.

\nJalen Reynolds put down a dunk and Derrick Williams drilled a triple for Maccabi Tel Aviv while Corey Walden hit a confer 3-ball for Bayern Munich as the Yellow & Blue took a 8-3 lead midway through the first quarter. Scottie Wilbekin put in a layup off the glass, Khyri Thomas scored his first points in a Maccabi uniform, Augustine Rubit responded with a pair of buckets and Andrea Obst went from deep, but Ante Zizic put in points to give Avi Even\u2019s squad a 16-13 lead after ten minutes of play.

\nOgnen Jaramaz opened the second quarter with points, Iftach Ziv hit a jumper and then scored a layup, but Leon Radosevic went from downtown and Deshaun Thomas scored inside as the was all knotted up at 20-20 with five minutes left in the frame. James Nunnally scored in the paint, Radosevic scored from deep again, John Dibartolomeo put in a layup but Vlamidir Lucic dunked at the other end and Nick Weiler-Babb scored as well to give Andrea Trinchieri\u2019s team a 30-29 lead at halftime.

\nRubit begin the third quarter with a turn around hook, Jaramaz dialed up long distance but Zizic broke the mini-run with points in the paint but Radosevic scored inside to give Bayern a 37-32 lead midway through the period. Weiler-Babb sliced to the bucket for points and added a circus act layup, Reynolds came back with a rainbow jumper, Wilbekin scored a layup and Thomas added a deuce but Obst nailed a 3-pointer as did Walden to give Bayern a 49-41 lead after thirty minutes of action.

\nWalden drilled home a triple to get the fourth quarter underway, Othello Hunter added a basket while Wibekin scored for Maccabi but were now down 57-43 with 5:30 remaining in regulation time. Wilbekin drained a 3-pointer but Lucic responded as did Weiler-Babb while Jason George finished the game off with a triple to take the blowout victory.
