Both Hapoel Beer Sheva crashed out of Europe on Thursday night succumbing to FC Thun of Switzerland falling away 2:1 on a brace by Nelson Ferreira after drawing 1:1 in the first leg at Teddy Stadium. Beer Sheva took a shock lead on a 6th minute long shot by John Ogu, however, defender Shir Tzedek saw red in the 20th minute leaving the visitors from Israel with a man down for the majority of the match. Ferreira scored his first goal before halftime and his second in the 72nd minute to help his side advance to the next round of UEFA Europa League qualifying. Beer Sheva made some offensive substitutions after the second goal but it was not to be for new coach Barak Bachar.<\/p>\n
