A little over a month ago I had the privilege of visiting a very unique facility in Haifa, Israel, Yad Ezer L\u2019Haver<\/a>. From the outside one would think that this non-profit was just a few buildings with programs for senior citizens along with living accommodations, but in reality it is much, much more.<\/p>\n

This is a place for Holocaust survivors and the children of survivors, a sanctuary for those who suffered during World War II at the hands of the Nazi atrocities, where the globe had the unfortunate realization of man\u2019s inhumanity to man. However, through the darkness of the holocaust Yad Ezer L\u2019Haver<\/a> is a shining example of what just a few could do to provide a warm home and happy environment for those that had experienced one of history\u2019s greatest horrors.<\/p>\n
