After having won the Poland League Championship with Legia Warsaw last season, Hunter, who averaged 9 points and 5.2 rebounds, will look to use the experience gained in Europe to help Oded Katash\u2019s squad in the paint. <\/p>\n<p>Now, about to start the second year of a 3-year deal that was signed in 2025, Hunter is raring to go, \u201cIt&#8217;s super exciting and It&#8217;s something I&#8217;ve been looking forward to over the last year. I&#8217;ve been thinking about it. I&#8217;m very grateful to spend my last season in Poland.<br \/>\nI think it was a great opportunity for me to grow, learn, had really good coaches, teammates. To be here now is full circle and I&#8217;m happy to be here.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Hunter is looking forward to playing in the Euroleague and seeing how he stacks up against the best in the continent, \u201cIt means a lot and it&#8217;s a great opportunity. I&#8217;m going to try to make the most of it. Give everything I&#8217;ve got. I&#8217;m super excited about it. I&#8217;ve been preparing for this for basically my whole life. You start playing basketball as a little kid and your dream is to play at the highest level. I&#8217;m super excited to be here.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>As for what he brings to the team, Hunter wasn\u2019t shy about sharing his attributes, \u201cI think I bring a lot of versatility, a lot of energy. I play really hard, I work really hard. I try to be an everyday guy, be a good teammate, do whatever I can to help the team win as many games as possible.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Hunter understands that there are always high expectations with a team like Maccabi Tel Aviv, \u201cTo start with, the last three years I&#8217;ve been on a different team each year and day one, there were high expectations. It&#8217;s nothing new to me. I know that the history of the club is rich a one.
