During the current window, the team displayed excellent form and strong teamwork on offense. This was reflected again in this game with four players scoring in double figures, 38 assists and nine three-pointers at a 35% clip. Nitzan Amar scored her first points for the national team, while Dorian Dahan Sujic matched her career high (set earlier in this window) with 20 points.

\nIsrael Head Coach Shira Haelion, spoke about the win, \u201cI think the situation in the country somewhat overshadows the amazing journey we had during this window and how we feel. We\u2019re half here and half there and I was very worried, but I have to compliment the players for their perfect cooperation. We did a lot of video work and a lot of on-court work, we knew how to make adjustments both during the games and between them.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThe players deserve huge credit for maximum commitment and togetherness. What you see from the outside, that\u2019s exactly how it is on the inside. I\u2019m not alone here; I have an amazing staff and they also deserve a lot of credit. We truly had a perfect campaign and I\u2019m especially happy in moments like these that we\u2019re experiencing.\u201d

\nHaelion continued, \u201cWe put the emotions aside and focused on the professional side, which helped us. I also think that in this window our bench was much more significant and allowed rest minutes for the starting players. This whole window was about defense, we stopped our opponents according to our game plans, and again I\u2019ll praise the players who executed our plan perfectly. I\u2019m happy we brought a lot of pride and joy to everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

The bench boss will now have break but looked ahead to the next stage, \u201cI want to process and breathe in everything we experienced in this window; of course, we\u2019ll want to improve things.
