Beitar Jeusalem 3:0 Maccabi Haifa

In a totally dominating performance, Beitar crushed Maccabi Haifa as the student got the better of the master. The Yellow-and-Blue did what they had to do against the Diamond City side winning and collecting 3-points to keep close to table leaders Beer Sheva in the race for the title. It wasn’t easy for Tel Aviv but second half goals by Tal Ben Chaim and captain Eran Zahavi broke the 1:1 deadlock for the win. Eden Ben Basat’s first half marker was cancelled out early on in half number two by Saar Benbenishti helping Netanya to their first goal since November. However, the Maccabi quality showed in the final 45 minutes as Peter Bosz’s side scored the victory.

Hapoel Tel Aviv 2:1 Hapoel Raanana

Raanana may have scored first but it would be American Aaron Schoenfeld who would have the last word as Hapoel Tel Aviv pulled off the 2:1 win. Yuval Shabtai scored for Raanana to give Haim Silvas’ visiting side the shocking 1:0 lead but it was Alon Turgeman who pulled the Reds even. The former Maccabi Haifa ma then sent Schoenfeld the perfect pass to head behind the Raanana keep Arik Yanko to win the game.

Hapoel Haifa 1:2 Hapoel Beer Sheva

Eliyaniv Barda and Ben Sahar scored for the table leaders while Eli Elbaz could only cut the lead as Beer Sheva will maintain their first place position. Barak Bachar’s side travelled up to Haifa where they visited Hapoel Haifa at Sammy Ofer Stadium. Haifa played Beer Sheva tough, but the visitors continued their undefeated streak which is now up to 17 matches as the desert club continuously keep finding ways to win.

Bnei Yehuda 0:2 Bnei Sakhnin

Former Bnei Yehuda boss Yossi Abuksis came back to his former haunting ground with Sakhnin and sent the hosts to their first loss in four games. Itzik Azuz scored an own goal putting the visitors ahead early in the second half while Weam Amasha scored deep into injury time to seal the deal in a 2:0 victory.

Maccabi Petach Tikva 1:2 Hapoel Akko

Guy Dayan struck first from 35 meters out while Rada Prica dre Petach Tikva even early in in the second half. The Swedish striker headed home his goal off of a Gidi Kanuk corner. However, the visitors would score the winner from inside the box as Zion Zemach put in the game winner for Yaron Hochenboim’s side.

Kiryat Shemona 0:2 Hapoel Kfar Saba

Kfar Saba and coach Sharon Mimer got back onto the winning track as two second half goals did in visiting Kiryat Shemona. Mavis Tchibota’s give and go goal with Reef Mesika and Dudu Biton’s injury time did in Salah Hasarma’s side as the coach’s tenure with the club ended following the loss as he was relieved of his duties.
