Israel Under-20’s ready for Crete Challenger

The Israel Under-20 Team will be taking part in a FIBA Challenger Tournament in Crete, Greece between Monday July 19th and Saturday July 24th. This year’s competition is in place of the usual European Championship that occurs on a yearly basis but due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been postponed. Israel will be in a group with Russia, Slovenia, Greece, Ukraine and Belgium over the course of the tournament.

Ariel Brit Halachmi who was in charge of the squad which now back to back championships in 2018 and 2019 will be back on the bench with a brand new team which includes: Yahel Melamed, Shoham Gatt, Gur Lavi, Roie Pratzky, Gilad Levi, Lotan Amsalem, Amit Aharoni, Yonatan Atias, Yonatan Levi, Yuval Schneiderman, Dori Sahar and Harel Rinsky.
