Maccabi Haifa 82-94 Hapoel Jerusalem
Oded Katash has begun to not only transform Jerusalem into the team he envisioned but the players have also started to buy into the process as well with 2 wins in a row, this time on the road at Maccabi Haifa. Startos Perperlogou (20p), Bar Timor with a season high (18p) and Jerome Dyson (18p) helped draw 10(!) fouls to lead the Reds to victory. For the Greens, Trevor Gaskins scored 22 points while Brandon Bowman added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.

Hapoel Tel Aviv 85-80 Maccabi Tel Aviv
The Reds painted Tel Aviv exactly that, Red as they now defeated Maccabi in their last two contests against one another. The Yellow & Blue fell behind all game long and just weren’t able to overcome Danny Franco’s squad who were just desperate for a win not matter who the opponent according to one of the Hapoel players. Matt Howard had a big 20 point performance, Tomer Ginat scored 19 points while Ty McKee (8 assists) and Jerel McNeal (9 assists) controlled the floor leading the team to 24 assists on the night. Deshaun Thomas scored 17 points while Michael Roll dropped 15 points in the defeat.

Nahariya 81-99 Hapoel Holon
Glen Rice Jr. again starred for Dan Shamir’s team with 23 points and 6 assists as Joe Alexander also chipped in with 19 points and 8 rebounds to help Holon to the win. Nahariya went 1/16 from beyond the arc as Jonathan Skjoldebrand dropped 20 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in the defeat.

Hapoel Gilboa/Galil 90-76 Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion
Gilboa/Galil went on a 15-0 run in the last quarter for a 31-12 advantage in the frame to pull off the home win over Rishon Le’Zion. Zach LeDay dropped 23 points while Joaquin Szechwan scored 17 to lead the way for the host’s while Keith Langford led the Rishon effort with 24 points in the defeat.

Bnei Herzliya 78-82 Maccabi Ashdod
A huge first half 18-0 helped Ashdod to a comfortable lead, but Jeff Adrien (26p/14r) led Herzliya back with a 21-5 run of their own in the 2nd half to cut the lead to just 3-points, 77-74 but it was too little too late for the host’s to snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat. Ben McCauley (19p/10r), Sek Henry (17p/9a) and Cameron Long (15p) led Brad Greenberg’s crew to the win.

Hapoel Eilat 86-75 Nes Ziona
Eilat won for the first time in 5 games as they ended the second round of games with a .500 record at 11-11. Eric Griffin scored 16 points (7 turnovers), Amit Simhon dropped 14 points in the win. Talib Zanna scored 18 points and pulled down 8 boards as Daequan Cook added 16 points in the loss.
