I hope you are well.

We spoke last month, and as I recall, a meeting on this matter is expected to take place next month.

The situation in the region, and particularly in Israel, is calm and stable. I am therefore writing to you with a sincere and personal request to approve Israel’s hosting of its November window games at home.

I believe the time has come for the people of Israel to enjoy and support their national team on home soil, just as supporters of other national teams are able to do.

I would be pleased to host FIBA’s leadership in Israel so that they can visit, see the situation firsthand, experience daily life in the country, and receive all the information they may require.

I would, of course, also be happy to discuss this matter with you by phone at any time convenient for you.

I respectfully ask you to consider my request favorably and help us bring the Israeli national team back home.

As your request relates to the World Cup Qualifiers, the final decision rests with the FIBA Central Board/ExCo. As the FIBA ExCo will be meeting next week, I will bring your request forward and ask for it to be included on the agenda
