It looks like Josh Owens will not have his contract renewed at Hapoel Jerusalem after the center wrote a long blog post about his season with the Reds. Getting to know Josh I can only say the nicest of things as he was a first class gentleman throughout the whole season. I had the opportunity to interview him on a regular basis and I can’t thank him enough for his time and patience. Before the season began Owens joined me on The SPORTS RABBI SHOW for a long form interview and you can LISTEN to it HERE.

Michael Brisker signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv for 3 years and will join coach Ariel Beit Halachmi while Gil Beni joined Hapoel Gilboa/Galil on a 3 year deal. Ofer Rahimi will be an assist coach on Danny Franco’s staff in Nahariya.
