Hapoel Jerusalem took a commanding lead at half time and never looked back, beating Nizhny Novgorod to win the opening two games of there Round of 16 group. Curtis Jerrells and Shawn Jones each had 21 points for Jerusalem, while Lior Eliyahu had 19 points. Deandre Kane had 19 points, while Siim Sander Vene had 18 for Nizhny Novgorod.

Jerome Dyson said after the game: “Tonight we played great defense, we have talked about it and we went out and played great defense. Our guards came in and helped out and we went out and got it.”


Avtodor Saratov 81-71 Rishon Le’Zion
Rishon Le’Zion lost away to Avtodor Saratov, in what was a competitive match. Patrick Richards scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds, while Javon McCrea scored 19 points for Rishon Le’Zion. Evgenii Kolesnikov scored 23 points for Avtodor Saratov.
