Hapoel Beer Sheva 2:0 Bnei Yehuda

The visitors from Tel Aviv came to play but Beer Sheva’s firepower was just too strong for the side flirting with the upper playoffs. Hapoel Akko 1:3 Beitar Jerusalem

Beitar continued its fine form with a solid away win at Akko. An own goal by Moshiko Mishaelof gave the visitors a 1:0 lead and Nikita Rukavytsya added a header to double the Yellow-and-Black adavantage. Branislav Jovanovic cut the Beitar lead but Dovev Gabbay took a Dan Einbinder pass in the 95th minute to salt away the 3-points.

Maccabi Tel Aviv 2:1 Hapoel Haifa

A pair of second half goals helped Maccabi pull within two points of table leaders Hapoel Beer Sheva as the Yellow-and-Blue defeated Hapoel Haifa 2:1. Captain Eran Zahavi scored a penalty while Tal Ben Chaim wrapped up the three points with a brilliant goal from an Orlando Sa pass in the 80th minute leading the hosts to the win. Zarko Korac pulled Haifa to within one late in the game but it was too little too late.

Hapoel Raanana 1:0 Maccabi Netanya

Raanana and coach Haim Silvas are poised to participate in the upper playoff round beginning in March after defeating relegation bound Netanya 1:0. Evans Kangwa capitalized on a Emanuel Embola cross as the Zambian scored on the 24th minute strike to collect the three points.

Bnei Sakhnin 2:0 Hapoel Kfar Saba

Bnei Sakhnin moved into the upper playoff picture with a convincing win over the visiting Greens. Feras Margarbeh scored in the 50th minute while Hilal Musa put in his first goal later on in the second half to salt away the victory.

Maccabi Haifa 0:0 Hapoel Tel Aviv

Eli Gutman picked up a hard earned point against Roni Levy’s Green side as Hapoel Tel Aviv continues to move away from the relegation zone. Haifa’s chances to earn a spot in the upper playoffs will be determined over the next two Matchdays as this draw certainly dented their chances.
