Bnei Yehuda 1:3 Hapoel Tel Aviv

With all kinds of news swirling around Hapoel this week converning the imminent arrival of coach Eli Gutman, Guy Levy’s side went out and dominated Bnei Yehuda 3:1 at Bloomfield Stadium. Omri Altman’s first half header followed up by Adi Gutlieb’s goal and Sagiv Yechezel’s strike at the stroke of halftime petty much wrapped up the match before the skins half had even started. Almog Bozaglo scored a consolation goal late in the match for the Orange but it was too little, too late as the Reds picked up the 3-points.

Hapoel Beer Sheva 3:0 Hapoel Akko

After a goalless first half, Beer Sheva turned on the jets to score 3-goals in the final 45 minutes to pick up the win. Eliyaniv Barda scored the first off of a rebound, Maor Melikson nailed the second on a free kick and Tony Nwakaeme picked up the 3rd for the victory. With win, Beer Sheva will remain in first place after Matchday 18 holding a lead over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Hapoel Kfar Saba 1:0 Beitar Jerusalem

Kfar Saba’s new boss Sharon Mimer came away with his first victory defeating the visiting Beitar Jerusalem side 1:0 thanks to a goal by Ran Itzhak. The Yellow-and-Black have been struggling of late but somehow have been able to get good results. On this night however, no miracles were found by Slobodan Drapic’s side. While the club remains in 3rd place the loss moves them further away from the top, however their chief competitors also fell keeping a 4-point cushion between them and 4th place Maccabi Petach Tikva.

Hapoel Haifa 2:0 Maccabi Netanya

Haifa picked up the win against a listless Netanya side who are mired in last place. Eli Elbaz scored in the 7th minute off of a deep ball by Oshri Roash and Maaran Lalaa beat keeper Barak Levy in the 37th minute to see up the victory leaving coach Reuven Atar shaking his head.

Hapoel Raanana 1:1 Kiryat Shemona

Ofir Mizrachi opened the scoring for the visitors off a rebound in the 12th minute while a nice passing play between Evans Kangwa and Mamadou Thiam drew Raanana even in the 44th minute as the sides eneded the match splitting the points in a 1:1 draw.

Bnei Sakhnin 1:0 Maccabi Petach Tikva

Sakhnin gave coach Yossi Abuksis his first win with the club when Ali Osman scored an 82nd minute free kick snatching the 3-points and the win over Ran Ben Shimon’s side.
