Two first half goals by Oscar Scarione and Tal Ben Chaim through a penalty helped the Yellow & Blue to a 2:0 first half lead, however, Gady Kinda cut the Maccabi advantage before the end of the half. The second half saw no scoring as the Tel Aviv side picked up the three points and the win.

The visitors from up north took a 1:0 lead in the first half on an own goal by Tal Banesh as the score looked to hold up all game long until the 90th minute when Shimon Abuhetzeira evened up the match for Beitar. Immediately following the tying goal Lidor Cohen helped the hosts to a 2:1 lead but as the final whistle was about to sound Bruco’s goal helped Kiryat Shemona split the points.
