Hapoel Tel Aviv 84-100 Hapoel Jerusalem
Hapoel Jerusalem defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv 100-84 at the Drive-In Arena as Austin Daye starred with 28 points in a quality team effort that featured 27 assist in the post-Jerrells era. An active Rich Howell added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists while Alen Omic and captain Yotam Halperin each chipped in with 11 points. Jeff Allen finished the night with 20 points as Tomer Ginat dropped 16 in the loss.


Hapoel Gilboa Galil 72-74 Maccabi Tel Aviv
Maccabi Tel Aviv edged Hapoel Galil 74-72. In a close contest, Maccabi got the job done in the 4th quarter by outscoring Galil 25-18 to secure the win. Tyler Stone led Galil by almost recording a double double with 26 points and 9 rebounds while three other players scored in double digits. Ezequiel Skverer dropped 13 points with 3 assists, Zach LeDay had 12 pts and 6 rebounds while Joaquin Szuchman added 11 pts and 6 assists. Pierre Jackson racked up 15 pts and 6 rebounds for Maccabi as Yuvel Zoosman and John Dibartolomeo scored 11 points each. DeAndre Kane and Alex Tyus notched 9 points each in the victory.


Bnei Herzliya 85-90 Hapoel Holon
Hapoel Holon defeated Bnei Herzliya 90-85. Neither team had an edge and at half time Herzliya led by 2 points. Holon’s lead only began to take shape at the end of the 3rd quarter when they outscored Herzliya 25-18 in the frame and took the game from there. Joe Alexander led Holon with 22 points and 7 rebounds while Terrell Tu Holloway supplemented him with 17 pts and 5 assists. Jeff Adrien led the charge for Herzliya by tallying a double double with 13 points and 10 rebounds and Tom Maayan had 12 points with 4 assists. Both Alex Rosenberg and Xavier Thames added 11 points in Herzliya’s defeat.


Hapoel Fattal Eilat 72-86 Ironi Naharyia
The purple and white swept through the 1-2 Hapoel Eilat squad. Naharyia ended the first quarter with a 12 point lead, 20-8. Corey Webster and Denzel Livingstone each put up 21 points followed by Alex Young sealed the deal with 20 points in his performance for Naharyia. Demetrius Treadwell nearly had a double-double as he scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Eilat had some good showings from individual players including Jordan Loyd (15 Points), Mike Rosario (14 points) and Isaac Rosefelt (13 points, 8 rebounds).


Maccabi Rishon Le’Zion 94-68 Maccabi Ashdod/Beer Tuvia
Rishon easily defeated Ashdod at home by 26 points thanks to Murphy Holloway’s 20 points and 9 rebounds. Mark Tollefsen hit the ground running with a double-double scoring 15 points and pulling down 11 boards. Ashdod’s David Laury III also recorded a double-double tonight with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Alex Chubrevich and Travis Warech scored 14 and 11 points respectively in the losing cause.


Maccabi Haifa 89-85 Nes Ziona
Maccabi Haifa needed a Brandon Bowman buzzer beater 3-pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime where Haifa was able to take care of a pesky Nes Ziona by 6 points. Stellar performances by Bowman with 30 points and Angel Rodriguez with 20 made the difference for the Greens. Jaron Johnson dropped 21 points while Elishay Kadir picked up a double-double scoring 14 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.
